Partners for Pets Veterinary Hospital is a comprehensive small animal healthcare practice, serving the medical needs of companion pets in Montgomery County, Alabama. We offer two veterinary locations in Montgomery and Pike Road, our hospital offers a full range of services including boarding/daycare, dental care, in-clinic diagnostics, laser and traditional surgery, ophthalmology, pharmacy, reproductive services, wellness care and more.

At Partners for Pets Veterinary Hospital, we do things a little differently from your average veterinary clinic, and we think that makes us special. We offer emergency/critical care during normal business hours. In the case of an emergency, your pet will be seen, stabilized, diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible.

Mission Statement
At Partners for Pets Hospital, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality veterinary care in all aspects of veterinary medicine for our clients and patients. We strive to be a part of your pet family by being honest, dependable, and compassionate as we partner with our clients to cultivate the human-animal bond.
Dr. Frank Aman
Dr. Frank Aman was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. After studying Zoology in undergraduate studies and earning a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2010, he moved back to the river region to serve the people and community he loves.
His main interests are in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. He has completed extra course work to be able to perform a Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA). This procedure is used to stabilize the knee after the patient tears their ACL.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association and the Central Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Aman has 2 boys, Frank and John Carter, and a Boykin Spaniel named Tyson.
Dr. Steven M. Sirmon, Jr.
Dr. Steven M. Sirmon, Jr. completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Sciences and went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
After the completion of his veterinary studies, Dr. Sirmon began practicing veterinary medicine at Goodwin Animal Hospital from 2009-2017.
Dr. Steven Sirmon and his wife Kellie are the proud parents of four children, Hadley, Harper, Josie, and Jace. They share their family home with three sweet cats named Storm, Silver, and Stripes.
Dr. Ashley Howard
Dr. Ashley Howard was raised on the beach in Venice, Florida and moved to Alabama her senior year of high school. She attended Auburn University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and the degree, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional interests include Dermatology, Soft Tissue Surgery and Preventative Medicine. When not in the clinic her and her husband (also Dr. Howard) spend their time taking care of their horses, cows, dogs, cat and chickens!
Dr. Tom Harbin
Dr. Tom Harbin grew up in Mobile, Alabama graduating fromDavidson High School. After receivinghis BS in Chemistry from Auburn in 1974, he graduated from Auburn UniversityCollege of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. Dr. Harbin owned a practice in Manchester, Tennessee for 35 years beforemoving back to Alabama in 2016. Hejoined the Partners for Pets team in August 2021. He has a special interest in reptile medicineespecially snakes! He will beginteaching classes at the Auburn Veterinary School this fall focusing on reptilereproduction and medicine. He has beenmarried to his wife Sarah for 48 years. They have two children and two grandsons. They now live on a farm in Mathews, AL andraise Boer goats.
