If you need a friendly, safe, comfortable place to leave your pets during the day or while you are out of town, bring them to Partners for Pets Veterinary Hospital with locations in Montgomery and Pike Road, Alabama. Your pets will experience a fun stay-cation at either one of our two locations and you can rest assured that they will receive lots of TLC from our animal loving kennel crew.
Our advanced boarding facilities are kept spotlessly clean and are climate controlled to keep pets cool in summer and toasty warm in the winter. We maintain separate areas for dogs and cats so that each boarder’s stay is as stress free as possible. Our boarding kennel accommodates large and small pets, and we do have dog runs that will house a pair of your compatible canines.
Our boarding and kennel crew is made up of compassionate pet lovers, who can’t wait to meet and play with your furry family members! Both the Montgomery and Pike Road locations have outside exercise yards where we have a children’s swimming pool for dogs to play in as well as toys to chase and chew; dogs go outside 3 to 5 times a day depending on how full we are. We allow our regular daycare boarders group time outside to encourage them to play together and provide socialization.
We supply toys, bedding and healthy and nutritious food for all boarders, however, clients may bring these things from home if they wish. Our caring staff will also administer medication as needed, so please bring any products your pets may need when you bring them to board. At Partners for Pets Veterinary Hospital, our staff monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each boarded pet, and our veterinarians will be alerted if any problems are noted. We want your pets to be happy and healthy while they are in our care.
For the safety of your pets, as well as others under our care, all boarders must be current on their vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks. Canine boarders must have vaccinations up-to-date against rabies, bordetella (kennel cough), distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and leptospirosis. Our feline friends must also be flea and tick free, and currently vaccinated against rabies, feline leukemia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia, and chlamydia. If your pet is not current with their inoculation schedule, or if you are unsure of their status, please contact us four weeks in advance of their anticipated stay, and schedule an appointment to have them adequately immunized.
